Hurricane Dorian

By Dianna Schild

As most of you may know, Hurricane Dorian is making its way to the United States. This hurricane is now a category 4 hurricane and is making its way to the East coast of the Florida state. People are getting ready to evacuate the state of Florida and are boarding there homes. The hurricane has been moving up the East coast lately and has been getting ready to hit Georgia and South Carolina. So, Dorian has been deciding to stay to the East side of Florida causing the hurricane to travel to other states. This hurricane was planted over the Great Bahama Island early Tuesday of last week.
This hurricane has winds of 120mph and can be as powerful as a category 5 hurricane making lots of damage going through.
Just to update what a hurricane is. Hurricanes are quite similar to a tornado but a hurricane has more currant rotation which makes the ocean have bigger waves and have lots more air rotation.
Hurricanes can be as dangerous if not more dangerous than the regular tornado. Causing waves to grow bigger and rain water to flow into peoples homes. All shelves at grocery stores are being swiped all water and bread is being taken along with all generators to power your home. There is not very many canned supplies left. Ge it while you can before you can get it anymore.
