Labrynth

By Ashten Elliott]

A random moving maze in which players move around the maze and move the maze itself in order to obtain treasure, that is the idea behind Ravensburger’s labyrinth. Labyrinth is Ravensburger’s most popular game and has spawned over 60 different versions and iteracions. The game is played with up to four people who attempt to escape the labyrinth by finding certain items before the other players do. Throughout the game you can manipulate the board by changing tiles in order to make the path you’re on quicker and easier or you can use it to block opponents from reaching the treasure before you. Thanks to this way of play no two games will be the same unless you try to make them the same so if you like games where you have to think about your moves and with a bit of randomness I would recommend playing labyrinth. If you want a game of labyrinth but want less freedom of movement and simpler game play(sounds worse but is still a lot of fun ) than you will want 3-d labyrinth. This version of labyrinth has the same goal of collecting things but is different in the sense that the labyrinth is 3-d and instead of changing any part of the labyrinth you change the middle by sliding the middle panel. This new version of play allows for more competition and more planning so if that’s what you want you might want to check out 3-d labyrinth. These only two of all the different types of labyrinth so if these didn’t sound like your thing there is probably a different version that you’d like. Overall from what I’ve played of these games they were really fun and relatively easy to get a hang of.
